While the rest of the team sits inside the plane, one gets left for on the wing. Not that it’s not habitual behaviour from him, I just think nobody cares anymore.

The team that is Manchester United. Before a lethal threat from one to 22. Now just a one to 22 men squad with a mad man as a manager. What that panel of players consist of is, players who get paid a hell of a lot and under perform.

Many players who’ve been added to the roster just before the inclusion of Jose Mourinho and during his time, have failed to meet expectation and have done nothing for other clubs to want to take them away from Old Trafford, actually.

The most notable of them all, the once electrifying, Alexis Sanchez. A player once regarded as the best in the Premier League after joining from Barcelona. A player who once scored against almost every team he’s played against. A player who could then, about two to three seasons ago, play anywhere across the frontline and even as a number 10.

More from Manchester United

This player has now become somebody who now cannot even play in his favourite position on the wing. A major move, plunged down the drain in less than season. Sanchez has not even been at United for a full season, but is already rumoured to be on his way out.

What a surprise! No, it’s not a surprise!

This comes as no surprise to the United faithful and to me. United is a big club and one of the biggest in the English Premier League. To think you can come from Arsenal and just make it, you got to be a Robin van Persie, you know?

Well, this is exactly what I would grade Sanchez as, a player with matching abilities to Robin. Unfortunately, the player, style of play and manager, are not in sync at the moment – and have been like that for a consistent period of  time. Making his swap the worst of the lot.

Why did Klopp and the Reds sign Fabinho. dark. Next

At the moment it’s just paper talk but with this Chilean player, sometimes rumours in the paper are not far from the truth, actually being considered closer to the truth than that of the clubs words.

This is where you need to ask, did he make the right decision in choosing Jose Mourinho over Pep Guardiola? My answer is… It was a BIG FAT mistake!United need to use that hefty wage bill somewhere else and put it in to better use.
