Six games to kickoff Matchday 12. No eye candy encounters to get the heart pumping, but club action to the highest satisfaction nonetheless.

The day go as its usual self, an early slot with solitary action between two birds. That’s followed by our usual high-obtained late afternoon time slot, which involves eight clubs of the English Premier League.

Not as overly crowded as it usually would be, thanks to a fully booked Sunday afternoon,  following today. The last of the day has all eyes on them in final slot, working that night shift. And what better way to make it worth the watch, than to make it a good old fashion London derby.

More from AFC Bournemouth

None of the big six plays today besides Spurs, who takes part in the crucial London derby in the last clash of the day. The rest plays tomorrow, with the Manchester clubs duelling in their own neighbouring derby.

Funny enough today also brings us a the first day of the league campaign where all three, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Cardiff City, look for the second victory. Fulham and Southampton joins them yes, but they’ve been in search of that elusive number in a bad run of six and seven games, respectively.

Glory of three points for any of the aforementioned can put one or the other down and help them rise to places unfamiliar to them. A win is instrumental and detrimental to all involved in that bottom-table battle that’s been extremely busy over the past 12 match weeks.

Saturday Matchday 12 predictions

Cardiff City 0-1 Brighton
Southampton 1-1 Watford
Leicester City 3-1 Burnley
Huddersfield 1-0 West Ham
Newcastle 1-3 Bournemouth
Crystal Palace 2-3 Tottenham

Cardiff City and Newcastle have the real tests today of the three playing. Fulham’s rally for three points only comes tomorrow when they take on Liverpool at Anfield. You be the judge of that result. It leaves the Bluebirds and the Toon Army with one option, try and win.

Leicester City, Brighton and Watford, all have the opportunity to add pressure to those playing in tomorrow’s lineup. This will be the best chance for those a point or two behind United or in front, to come and take their place or inevitably make them work harder to keep climbing up. They have a gruelling gauntlet tomorrow, where a win seems improbable.

Burnley and Crystal Palace needs to fins some sort of rhythm, or something. It’s a shame to see two of the most refreshing teams of last season, decay in the followup season. Roy’s hands are full facing another of the top six. But… His Eagles can do it. But Spurs got some fight in them of late. Should be an entertainer of note.
