In one of the games of the year so far, Chelsea and Liverpool played to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, with golazos and drama headlining the seventh weekend in the Premier League.

Best Match – Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea

Could there be any other choice?

This classic at Stamford Bridge highlighted the title credentials on both teams and provided incredible drama. Eden Hazard highlighted why he may in fact be one of the best players in Europe, while Daniel Sturridge reminded all of us what he is capable of producing when fit.

Chelsea dominated the first half and rightfully got the first goal with an excellently taken Hazard finish.

This current Chelsea team is the most exciting team we’ve seen in many years. Gone are the days of conservatism and parking the bus. Maurizio Sarri has given attacking freedom to nearly all of these talented players and none is benefitting more than Eden Hazard.

There were whispers in the summer that Hazard was on Real Madrid’s radar to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. If Hazard can keep this form, Los Blancos will be trying to sign him in January, than wait for the summer.

Hazard has always been in the discussion of being the best player in the Premier League, but this season, there can be no discussion. Eden Hazard is the best player in England and may singlehandedly bring Chelsea a third title in 5 years.
