It was a winner takes all type of Saturday, with the only points shared when two of the Premier League’s leading runners met at Stamford Bridge for what was the highlight of Saturday, no doubt.

Saturday started with unusual celebrations for one team and typical defeat for the other. As the day wore on and we drew closer to what was a real test for two teams mounting a title challenge for Man City, no game went without a goal scored.

Talking Pep’s team, they’ve never failed at taking points, but was the first of the three at the top to manage a draw. However, their prolific culture in front of goal has certainly been second to none and after this weekend’s beating over Brighton, they see themselves reclaim their first-place spot on the Premier League table.

Saturday Matchday 7 results:

West Ham 3-1 Man United
Huddersfield 0-2 Tottenham
Arsenal 2-0 Watford
Wolves 2-0 Southampton
Newcastle 0-2 Leicester City
Man City 2-0 Brighton
Everton 3-0 Fulham
Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool

The Blues of Merseyside got back to winning ways in great style, while the Foxes make it two wins in as many, since losing fatally to Bournemouth. It’s been an ever-changing Premier League table with the way results have been going. Although, the top three and bottom three have remained a bit more constant.

The only promoted side showing EPL quality is Wolverhampton. Taking points from the Saints was in order, and they delivered for the home fans. Unai got it right again at the Emirates.
