Chelsea 4-1 Cardiff City

An early scare was quickly eradicated by the heroics of Eden Hazard, the best player in the Premier League. The Belgian’s hat-trick keeps Chelsea’s perfect record intact and puts the Blues in first place ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.

Sol Bamba’s goal for Cardiff seemed like the end of the world for Chelsea. That was until Hazard’s three goals and Willian’s super strike earned Chelsea their fifth victory. Hazard now leads the league in goals with five.

The Blues are playing excellently and will try to win a sixth straight in Greece when they face PAOK in the Europa League. After that match, they go to West Ham to keep the pace up in the league. Cardiff City’s daunting schedule will continue next Saturday when they host Man City. The Bluebirds have conceded seven goals in their last two games to Arsenal and Chelsea.
