Last season this fixture saw five goals in what was a one-sided affair. More of the same? Or roles reversed?

With both teams showing contrasted versions of their last season selves, who will take all the points? Will it be shared, or will it be the home side who can stop Liverpool from the perfect start and making it five wins from five?

It will be a bit tough with both, Alli and Lloris missing from the starting eleven. Liverpool without Lovren, who hasn’t been missed in reality, after Gomez slotted in perfectly in his partnership with Virgil van Dijk.

So we could expect the same starting eleven as previously, with only Lallana missing from the bench with Lovren. Mauricio must shuffle personnel and change his game plan. A loss this weekend will make it back-to-back defeats for him. Not what they need in the quest for silverware.
