English Premier League: Super Sunday’s results involving City, Liverpool, and Arsenal
Two men finding it hard to put numbers up on the scoreboard, Mark Hughes and Sean Dyche. Expected? Yes, definitely.
With the Clarets putting a lot of focus and ammo into the Europa qualifying matches – it’s understandable the lack of goals coming from them in their opening game.
One thing Sean can take from this fixture, they were able to say they again stole points from a fixture away from home. Something they were notorious for the whole of last season. Anything of the same this season – they’d see themselves in the same place as last season.

Mark Hughes’ Saints got off to a better start and can only get better with the lively Ings looking to hit the ground running. The manager has to change their possession stats around. Not owning all the possession at your home ground spells disaster.
To say both clubs were wasteful in front of goal, is more than an understatement. Opportunities went begging on both ends of the pitch. Both teams can be happy to not lose on the opening day.
Well expected for these two clubs to spar out to a draw. In Burnley and Southampton we trust.
