To say that Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is a good goalkeeper is very fair, but the truth is, he makes more than a fair share of mistakes that cost his team dearly on occasion.

Lloris led the Premier League last year in total errors with a ridiculous 7, even with Petr Cech, Asmir Begovic, and Eric Dier. 4 of those 7 errors led directly to goals.

Even as he lifted the World Cup high in the air for France as their captain this past summer, his mistake to gift Mario Mandzukic a goal in the final was a jaw-dropping moment that could have been costly without the heroics of Kylian Mbappe just a few minutes prior.

Despite this poor season from Lloris, he is still in his prime and has the caliber in his play to improve in this coming season. Leading his national side to a World Cup victory should spur him on (pun intended) to become a leading Premier League goalkeeper once more.
