If news of Michail Antonio not fitting in at West Ham is true, many teams should be knocking. What does Manuel Pellegrini have up his sleeve?

Manuel Pellegrini, the new ‘Head Hammer‘ over at the London stadium has issued a squad overhaul at West Ham. No surprise when thinking about their bad to worse campaigns they’ve been experiencing at their new home.

After a disappointing season, West Ham’s owners were threatened by the fans – news of ambitions and a brighter look towards the future was on demand. Slaven Bilic’s attempt to save his job was way short of success, as were David Moyes’ training methods.

Although he saved the club from Stoke City and others’ fate, he still was not deemed fit enough to take the club into a new era. In steps the Hammers board behind the scenes and the name Pellegrini as a manager.

What the Chilean wants to do

Since taking over at the Olympic grounds, the Chilean has been busy with an inevitable overhaul at the club. The manager himself was reported saying he needs ‘better players‘. A player who hasn’t fitted in this profile zone of this for Pellegrini is Michail Antonio.

The Englishman’s lack of game time and fall from being a West Ham star appears to have taken its toll and his time is almost over after news their manager wants a better stock of players at the club. The forward’s burst on to the scene was promising with eight goals and three assists, during his 23 showings in his first season.

He then doubled up with a convincing follow-up season netting nine goals, while chipping in with another three assists, in 29 appearances. This was all to end in an abrupt manner, when the player was only able to score on three occasions and add one assist in the 21 games he played in.

Next: Martial on the move then – Mourinho’s typical style

After not showing the same form in his third season in London, it looks as if the player will be shipped out and a new man will come take his place as a Hammer. Mid-table teams will come knocking knowing the talent they can unlock in Michail.

Crystal Palace has emerged as strong favourites. They need a player like to him to come and help star player, Wilfried Zaha. The player himself needs a move like Palace. Roy’s project seems to be an exciting one, maybe he could be key to their fight next season.

No official bid was made by Palace but we have a long transfer window to go. He has been put on the evicted list, so a new home is needed.
