An early penalty shout was shaken off by the match official in first few minutes of the first half. However, the ref was spot on in his decision to signal play on. After this early Swansea threat – it was all Spurs.
Eriksen was the star of the show and put in a match-winning performance. His brace was well deserved and was taken in world-class fashion. Lamela was the other player to score in the game – and was equally good as his teammate in their victory over Swansea.
The game was unfortunate not to see more goals – with Spurs applying so much pressure to the Welsh team, who found it almost impossible to stop an inform London club. The scoreboard displaying a true reflection on the game.
