Many others have pinned Liverpool as the favourites before the match, because of their attacking line. Still, United takes some challenge if you to try and beat them at home.

The hosts come off the back of two worthy victories. Although they came back from behind in both games, the fact they did so, stunned the Premier League.

The first was a top-six rival in Chelsea, who they took the game away from in the same venue – where the old foes meet tomorrow.

The second encounter was no longer than about five days ago – where they took just 45 minutes to make sure the three points were theirs, and they stayed above Liverpool in second place.

At the Theatre of Dreams, Man United has nothing to be ashamed about and everything to confident about. The Red Devils have impressed by only losing one game, and drawing two in their prestigious hometown.

If there’s something wrong and the ball comes through, who you gonna call – David de Gea

During this time, they’ve only conceded fives goals at home in their Premier League run. This home run, plus their other league matches has seen United let in, an ungenerous amount of 22 goals for the season.

A player having a massive hand, or two in this role is none other than, David de Gea. Undoubtedly three seasons running now – de Gea has established himself as Manchester’s most important player. Palace’s goals on Monday night were a massive shocker – only because you’d imagine this man to stop everything at all costs.

The only sore points for this English powerhouse – they struggle in front of goal on occasion. This is a major factor they will need to change in tomorrow’s big bang.

The other needless problems are the players unable to be selected. Ronald McDonald’s cousin, Marouane Fellaini is still a major doubt and a player who showed up big time in the last fixture between the two at Old Trafford.

Players doubtful through injury or not being able to make the Mourinho grade – Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Other than this, United have all the tools heading into their second place challenge tomorrow.
