The first match of Matchday 30 is the biggest of the weekend and has far too many times been overhyped by the public. Liverpool travel to Old Trafford and take on Manchester United for second place.

Many presume this fixture to be a high-obtained match filled with loads of goals. However, because of Jose Mourinho’s stingy ways to not allow teams to score – takes some edge away from the fixture.

Two teams who poise different styles of play are bound to clash in a clash. The home side holds a strong defensive line, that fails at keeping a clean sheet on few occasions. The visiting team, boast one of the strongest attacks in Europe, passing the 100 goal mark for the season.

Put that together, the match weighs 50/50 in the balance – with a winner very hard to predict.

Due to these two teams having such different powers on either end of the pitch – one must never try call it off the bat. We all know – put 11 outfielders in front of the goal, Klopp’s men struggle to be effective in the final third.

With Mourinho’s men – if they get stuck into their game plan too much, then they have a tendency to lack creativity. This is nothing new being mentioned, but surely won’t make the game any less attractive.

If you’re a football lover – you’d know this is the game where most, if not all of the world stands still and observes.
