It’s never a bad time to be excited about a North London Derby. What makes the event extra special – is the calibre of new players ready to partake in their first derby, and maybe become instantaneous heroes.

The idea of new boys, Lucas Moura, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan taking the field – makes the delay harder to embrace. Mix this up with the players the two sides boast already – you have the most anticipated fixture of the weekend.

Almost playing for a royal flush, if they’d stolen all the points last weekend when they travelled to Anfield. If they had capped the six points from the two matches – their opponents would have travelled in vain.

If Spurs destroy the Gunners this weekend, it takes the point gap to seven point, jump into third place, push Chelsea out of the top four, and puts pressure on Liverpool to get a result.

Losing this allows Liverpool and Chelsea, to play freely knowing they have a lifeline. There’s a lot at stake for both these teams tomorrow. Tottenham accumulated a handful of points in their last three – but in that time beating, Man United and robbing the Reds of two points.

The biggest disappointment of the last three – the draw to Southampton when their shared a goal a piece.

When taking points into consideration, the Gunners have a better run in the last three encounters – despite them losing to weaker opposition. Wenger and his men have collected six points from their last three fixtures.

By a point more, the Gunners beat their rivals, expressing the similar form the two have been in. It serves as a chance to use the new arsenal, put one in the chamber, and shoot themselves closer to their enemy’s gates.

During those three fixtures – they entertained with 15 goals, scoring and conceding. What a tally! Their outings do not disappoint and loads their next fixture to be a delicious treat.

They have the chance to pull a double and paint the town red – making their city enemies wait for the following season to get revenge. Best and probably the only time – they can pull them closer to fifth place, bringing the gap to just one point between the two North London clubs.

The most important factor, key to this encounter – Arsene Wenger and Arsenal’s record inside Wembley Stadium. If there’s one man that can – the Frenchman can.
