The UEFA Champions League resumes with the Round of 16, featuring five English Premier League teams.

The Champions League is finally back! After almost having a two month break, the best club competition returns, and we have some cracking matches coming up in the next two weeks.

The December draw gave us ties we have seen before in this competition, new challenges for underdogs, and the world’s best meeting for two matches in late winter.

The group stage was slightly underwhelming, with most of the favorites cruising through to the next round – in blowouts early on.

The best 16 teams in Europe are ready to seek glory, and continue on the road to Kiev. For me, every one of these ties has some excitement built around them.

There are games I cannot wait for, and others I wouldn’t get too riled up about.

Here are the eight Round of 16 ties, ordered from least, to most anticipated.
