FA Cup review: Yeovil Town welcomes Premier League giants – Man United
The FA Cup fourth round kicks off, with a David vs Goliath and battle – as Man United travels to Yeovil Town.
Happy days for the little League Two side, as they get spoilt to a top side in, Manchester United. The question stands, will the home side be welcoming or, are they going to make it a feared place to remember for Jose and his men?
The main reason this fixture’s a good look for the start of the FA Cup – Alexis Sanchez was named in the United squad. The Glovers, have planning to do – with a busy night ahead, promised by the squad the travelling manager has named for today’s clash.
Yeovil Town, come off the back of a home defeat – something that’s appetising for the travellers. A bit of inconsistency has been on the books for the home side as well – so things doesn’t exactly scream … Fear us!
Man United will be all over them tonight – the moral of the club and the atmosphere surrounding them after one of the best transfers in the winter window – is simply booming.
Nothing’s stopping this club at the moment. Jose will be going after this cup as well – now that one of his menimus has fallen out during the third round of fixtures.
Jose needs to go after the FA Cup, because of his early failure in the Carabao Cup. That, and the manager’s short-lived attempt, for Premier League title. The Champions League and the FA Cup – is all the Portugues has going for, Silverware this season.

The Premier League title is Man City’s to lose. I don’t see them taking dip of note, spoiling their well-deserved thophey coming.

On the pitch when Yeovil Town entertains Man United:
Tough ask for a small side like the The Glovers, to nullify the likes of Sanchez and co. One important factor counting in the home side’s favour – the pitch and if Man United will be able to operate on it.
Not many Premier League clubs visit grounds as well maintained as theirs. So always a challenge for the bigger teams to play away in the FA Cup.

The best Yeovil can pull from this is a replay at Old Trafford – another way it counts in Jose’s favour. But, getting this game done and dusted now – should be the ultimate goal.
