Everton are homing in on their second inclusion for the January transfer window. Theo Walcott, is the player reported to be on his way and be added to the roster.

If they’re to complete the business with Arsenal, he will inject the speed Everton are in desperate need of. The clubs and player’s said to be close to reaching an agreement and looks to be settling on £20 million for the attacker.

The most recent news on the player was – the deal is set in stone almost, with a medical the only formality to be finalised. Must be an exciting time to be an Everton fan.

After their disappointment over the weekend – where Everton went four goals down to Spurs. A transfer such as this will set the mood right, turn the lights bright, and set a statement to the Council of Liverpool – help the Blues build a new stadium.

Questions such as; is he the answer?  Will he have a fresh start and add value to a team battling to keep up with the pace of their counterparts?

Theo Walcott’s been below par and hasn’t really recovered from his previous injury problems. However, coming in at £20 million, could work out to be a steal with 6 months left on the Premier League calendar. We all know what the explosive forward is capable of, when firing on all cylinders.

Next: Sturridge needs to make space

Another player rotting away on the bench struggling to make Arsenal’s first team, which shouldn’t be difficult when you examine this campaign’s results, including some of the others on the pitch. Wenger gives the impression, he’s after a raft of players and so in return, others must make way.

Next: West Ham applied the hammer

Walcott will follow the likes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez, and Mesut Özil, who’s still to feature for Arsenal this season. With all these names on the verge of leaving, or having left already. It’s understandable why Theo’s venture’s elsewhere – other than the Emirates.
