English Premier League: Arsenal welcome Tottenham – North London Derby
Back to action with the greatest league in the world, the English Premier League and what better way to start the weekend on return to action, with a North London Derby.
Two teams exhibiting dissimilar form from one another are Arsenal and Tottenham. The team leaving Wembley stadium travelling over to bitter rivals, while been steered firmly by Harry Kane, have been on the rise.

The team who host the clash at the Emirates have only collected one point from the possible nine they were projected when they faced top-six opposition. They played the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and most recently, Man City. Conceding seven goals and scoring only one in those games, makes this contest vital for the home team and a must win.
Spurs on the other hand have played Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United, collecting only three points when they pounded Liverpool at Wembley stadium. Spurs has struggled away from home and against top-six opposition as well. This is what makes this encounter so mouthwatering.

Considering Wenger’s words in Thursday’s pre match press conference, one could suggests the manager’s deluded to think his North London club is still ahead of their counterparts. Wise words to help build the confidence of his players as they go into the clash. But a huge statement to think it would go unnoticed in the Spurs camp. Daring from the manager but necessary at the same time.
The meeting is quite difficult to predict who will come out victorious with Tottenham’s away form dismal and something for Wenger to look at. Harry Kane on the other hand has scored in all his appearances against Arsenal, making this a pretty even match for us to kick off the weekend with.
Spurs are said to be monitoring their roster after all were said to be doubtful during the international break. The manager spoke of the further assessment to be taken by him and the medical staff ahead of the match on Saturday.
