Chelsea return to European action off the back of a hard-fought victory, away at the Vitality Stadium. They’ve made three wins in as many games since drawing their previous Champions League clash.

Antonio Conte has set his team up for victory. By establishing a stable back-line and sticking to a formation that compresses and pivots – he has built himself a team that knows how to win-a team that knows each opponent.

His players can read opponents like a book, they can pick out teammates from afar. Everything comes together in unity. I believe Morata is a big part of this. He had struggled to regain his form in Madrid, but now the Spaniard has landed in a comfortable place.

He brings that unique playing style to the team. Not to mention his superb heading ability. He was that missing puzzle piece the blues needed. Ahead of the Roma match, Conte’s men need to focus on the opponent.

Focus on creating gaps with runs from the wingers. This creates space for Morata. Continuous pressuring as well as quick pressure, provides counter attacks – where you can catch Roma off-guard.
