If Hodgson’s really the only man for the job, this could mean there are not many managers available at the moment. Quite frankly, this could mean there are no possible suitors for the vacant Palace job at all

A new manager and the replacement of your previous manager is suppose to strike fear into the minds of the opponents as soon as he gets mentioned with the club. That and, start a feeling of resurgences. Sadly from my point of view, I literally feel none of these things for dear old Roy in this situation.

What more can one-person write about a manager like Roy Hodgson? I’m sure no Palace fan would be overly excited about the possible appointment of Roy Hodgson, but he is the name being mentioned as the Dutch failure’s successor.

Roy’s time as a manager has not been a secret from the media and always in the limelight. After recent achievements or none in his case, many would say this is a step backwards for the London club.

Frank de Boer should have been given more time to ensure his work on the players. Maybe with help to change a losing formation, he could have gone on to earn points consistently.

Hopefully many others and I are made out to be wrong about this British manager and he actually does a great job at the club.

Palace has been struggling since the start of last season, maybe even longer. This is not the start to a campaign they wanted after such hard finish last one.
