  1. David Moyes (Real Sociedad) to Newcastle

Not one, but two, managerial rumours!? You bet.

The former Everton and Manchester United manager left the Premier League for the balmy shores of San Sebastian in 2014, but rumours suggest that Newcastle United may be waiting for him to become available should his tenure at Real Sociedad come to an abrupt end.

This wouldn’t be too surprising. Sociedad has had a dreadful start to the season with only one win out of seven fixtures leaving them in 16th place in La Liga. Reports suggest that the 3-0 win over Granada has eased the pressure on Moyes and that a transfer from La Liga back to England is unlikely at this point.

While Newcastle majordomo, Mike Ashley, has decided to stand behind a floundering Steve McClaren, Ashley has been a longtime admirer of Moyes attempting to sign him during his tenure at Goodison Park.
