Sometimes it feels like controversial situations have a knack of finding Jose Mourinho rather than the opposite. Again referring to last season where the Chelsea boss was in the middle of many disputable situations with the officials and pundits alike.

If Jose wanted any respite then he was in for a major disappointment as the match was filled with contentious calls from the referee.

Diego Costa was denied a penalty while on the other hand Swansea was granted one and Courtoise was sent off for a foul on Gomis. It was not clear whether it was a penalty as it was hard to see whether he committed the foul in the penalty box or not.

To make things more confusing and heated, the decision for a red card was also under question as it was not clear whether Courtoise denied Gomis a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Mourinho denied to comment on any refereeing decisions but you get the feeling that things are going to get heated come the middle of the season. Here we go again!
