With his star on the rise thanks to his performance last season at Sevilla, Columbian National Team member Carlos Bacca has become a target for Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool.

The Colombian helped lead Sevilla to back-to-back Europa League titles and is now looking like the next player to leave La Liga for the Premier League. With the two most successful clubs in English soccer pursuing him, it will not be long before the players £21.5 million release clause is met.

Should Bacca join the Premier League, he will join a deep corpse of forwards at either club. However, the attacking players at both clubs are beginning to age. While Liverpool have young players Daniel Sturridge and — currently — Raheem Sterling, Manchester United have the experience of Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney.

Both attacks have there advantages. Liverpool’s Strurridge and Sterling have struggled with their health and fitness in the past but still have their youth and ability to improve.

Manchester United on the other hand have two experienced and aging players that will need to be replaced in the near future. Joining either side will give Bacca a chance in the Premier League and to become a world star.
