MF Antonio Valencia (Ecuador):

Given his credentials, Antonio Valencia was supposed to be the best player on the Ecuador national team. Unfortunately, it didn’t appear that way throughout the tournament. Ecuador managed to get some goals, but they were done without the help of the Manchester United midfielder. Like Kagawa, Valencia was quiet throughout the tournament and failed to produce the blistering runs that made him a valuable asset at Old Trafford. Moreover, when he did touch the ball, it was a matter of seconds until he turned it over.
