On Monday, the second last day of games during this October international break, there were plenty of Premier League players in action. Let’s see how they all got on.

Wout Faes, Timothy Castagne, Orel Mangala, Jeremy Doku, Youri Tielemans, and Leandro Trossard started for Belgium in their 2-1 defeat at home to France in the nations league.  Ibrahima Konate, William Saliba and Lucas Digne started for France, with Digne providing an assist. Saliba conceded a penalty, though it was saved. Christopher Nkunku came on with 16 minutes to go.

Guglielmo Vicario, Riccardo Calafiori, and Sandro Tonali all started for Italy as they smashed Israel 4-1. Destiny Udogie came on in the second half and provided an assist.

Dominik Szoboszlai started and scored both goals for Hungary in their 2-0 win away to Bosnia & Herzegovina in the nations league.

Kevin Schade was a second half sub for Germany in their 1-0 win at home to The Netherlands in the nations league. Bart Verbruggen, Micky van de Ven, Ryan Gravenberch, and Cody Gakpo all started for the visitors. Joshua Zirkee came on in the second half.

Illia Zabaryni and Mykhaylo Mudryk both started for Ukraine in their 1-1 draw at home to Czechia in the Nations League. Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek both started for the visitors.

Ferdi Kadioglu started for Turkey in their 4-2 win away to Iceland in the Nations League.

Neco Williams, Ben Davies, Harry Wilson, and David Brooks all started for Wales as they beat Montenegro 1-0 at home in the Nations League. Wilson scored the winner from the spot in the first half.

Dejan Kulusevski started and provided an assist for Sweden in their 3-0 win over Estonia in the Nations League.

Tuesday marks the final day of football before all of the remaining players return back to the club sides in preparation for the return of Premier League football this coming weekend.
