There seems to be a shortage of world-class strikers in the current PSG squad. Hence, PSG are planning to swoop down for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford if the conditions are favourable, as per recent reports.

Will Rashford make the switch to PSG?

If reports from talkSPORT are to be believed, PSG are showing serious interest in United attacker Rashford. The French club are ready to take the next step if the player is willing to move across the English Channel.

Having lost Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid on a free transfer, PSG would love to add a superstar attacker to their squad. Apart from Mbappe, only Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos managed to score in double figures in all competitions put together. They believe Rashford can nullify their attacking woes.

Rashford himself did not have a great season in 2023/24, as he scored just eight goals in all competitions. Consequently, his poor form saw him miss out on a spot in the England squad for the Euro 2024 in Germany. However, he did manage to lift the FA Cup after United defeated Manchester City in the final at Wembley in May 2024.

According to talkSPORT, United are not desperate to sell him but would not turn down any huge offers. They would welcome funds from player sales as they look to make a few additions to strengthen their team. The Red Devils have been keen to add Everton youngster Jarrad Branthwaite but have so far been unable to do so due to the price tag slapped on the defender.

PSG have been long-term admirers of Rashford and would love to see the 26-year-old ply his trade in Paris. The Ligue 1 champions are desperate to win the Champions League, club football's holy grail, and are looking for players to help them fulfill that dream.
