When Declan Rice is fit, he plays. The England international will be key to dictating the Arsenal midfield as he plans to drive forward at will. He may be given more space to operate against Sheffield United, so he will do his best to exploit it.
CM - Jorginho
In the last Premier League match between Arsenal and Newcastle, Jorginho was the standout performer. He brought a level of composure to the midfield which made it look easy for the Gunners. Therefore, he deserves to start for Arsenal in this match.
Jorginho is one Arsenal player whose contract expires in 2024. Therefore, the Gunners will need to address this, if they wish to keep him.
CM - Martin Odegaard
The Arsenal captain will be the driving force behind Mikel Arteta's creative plans for this match. In a game which has the potential to be tricky for the Arsenal attack, having a player like Odegaard with the ability to unlock defences with his fine range of passing could be the key.
