GK: Andre Onana (7/10) - Perhaps one of the best games from Andre Onana in a Manchester United shirt. His distribution was immaculate and he had some great saves. He didn't put a foot wrong in this game. Onana needs to keep this performance going in future games as well. So, deserves this score in the Man Utd player ratings vs West Ham.

RB: Diogo Dalot (7/10) - As the right back for Manchester United, Diogo Dalot was brilliant. That block when Jarrod Bowen was one-on-one with Onana was a thing of beauty. Dalot was also giving a lot while going forward. It was a great performance that he needs to keep up.

CB: Harry Maguire (6/10) - At times, Harry Maguire felt like the weak link to the Manchester United defence. He got beaten quite a few times. Yes, he improved a lot from the past season but its a lot way to go for Maguire to prove his worth at Man Utd.

CB: Lisandro Martinez (7.5/10) - The butcher is back! However, he could be gone for some time too. He had to come off due to an injury. And Varane had to replace him in the 71st minute of the game. But, before he went, he seriously made a huge impact on the game.

• SUB: Raphael Varane (6/10) - He came on after Martinez had to go off and he showed his presence with important clearances. If Manchester United lets Varane go, they would need a replacement of his quality for sure.

LB: Luke Shaw (7/10) - Today, Luke Shaw showed why he is the perfect left-back for Manchester United. He was playing the role of an inverted fullback perfectly. His link-up play and defensive work were both immaculate. United will be hoping that Shaw stays fit for the rest of the season.

• SUB: Victor Lindelof (NA/10) - Came on to the pitch in the 88th minute to replace Luke Shaw as the left-back. He didn't spend enough time or do anything significant to get a score in this Man Utd player ratings vs West Ham.
