So, how did Pep Guardiola’s men perform in this Man City vs Man United game? Here are the Man City player ratings vs Man Utd in their 3-1 win in the Premier League at the Etihad

Man City player ratings vs Man Utd - Premier League

Let's start the Man City player ratings vs Man City in their 3-1 win in the Premier League at the Etihad with Ederson (6/10) who had nothing to do in this game barring that Rashford screamer. Kyle Walker (8/10) was fantastic keeping the Rashford threat in check. Ruben Dias (7/10) played well going forward as he didn’t have much to do defensively and the same goes for Nathan Ake (7/10) who played decently as well.

In the midfield for Man City vs Man United, John Stones (7.5/10) and the Spaniard Rodri (8/10) brilliantly keep City dominating possession. Bernardo Silva (7/10) had a quiet game and Kevin De Bruyne (7/10) did create chances but the forwards struggled to convert them. Jeremy Doku (6/10) was giving nothing to Man City in this game. But, the player of the match who turned things around for Man City who were trailing at that time was Phil Foden (9/10)* as his brace helped Manchester City to come from behind to win another Manchester Derby. Erling Haaland (7/10) did get a goal in the end but was fairly quiet in the game and missed a sitter in the first half.

Manchester City only made a couple of substitutions as Guardiola took off Doku who was poor in this game to bring on Julian Alvarez (7/10) and the Citizens started dominating the game more. Unfortunately, Foden had to limp off in the 97th minute of the game as Oscar Bobb (NA/10) replaced him. For Pep Guardiola (8/10), he would have been disappointed with the first-half performance of his team. But, in the second half, he made the right call by taking Doku off. He ticked every box in the second half of this Man City vs Man United game.
