The defending champions of the UEFA Champions League Manchester City cruised to a 3-1 victory (6-2 agg.) against FC Copenhagen at the Etihad Stadium to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the competition. Akanji, Haaland, and Alvarez got on the scoresheet for the Citizens as they now wait to find out who their opponent will be in the quarter-finals. Manchester City only made four substitutions starting with Rodri going off in the 46th minute of the game and Sergio Gomez (5.5/10) was replacing him. Dias was having an average game from his standard so, Pep decided to call it a night for the Portuguese and bring on John Stones (5.5/10) in the 68th minute of the game. Nunes was also taken off for Micah Hamilton (6.5/10) in the 74th minute of the game. The last substitute for Manchester City was Jacob Wright (NA/10) who came on in the 88th minute of the game to replace Haaland. For Pep Guardiola (8/10), it was only a matter of time before his team would book a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. He was brilliant with his tactics, team selection as well as substitutions.
