Liverpool played hosts to Luton Town in a very crucial match they had to win as Manchester City was breathing on their neck. The Reds were trailing in the first half. However, in the second half, Liverpool showed why they are the Premier League leaders this season. Let's start this Liverpool player ratings vs Luton with the Reds goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher (6.5/10). He did concede early in the game. However, since then, he looked solid. Initially, Conor Bradley (7/10) looked quiet. But, in the second half, he got much better. Jarell Quansah (7/10) was getting tested by Chong however, he recovered well to put up a solid performance. Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk (8/10) was one of the man-of-the-match contenders in this game as he was solid in defence and scored the equalizer for the Reds. Joe Gomez (5.5/10) had to play as the right-back and he was getting outpaced by Ogbene.

As far as the midfield goes for Liverpool in this game, Ryan Gravenberch (5.5/10) put in a shift but it was a lot left to be desired.
