Aston Villa are unbeaten in three trips to the King Power, but are now targeting back-to-back victories in Leicester for the first time since 1981, and outcome that appears likely, considering the Foxes are yet to claim victory.

Aston Villa's start to this season has been mixed, defeating West Ham 2-1 on the opening day, before a narrow 2-0 defeat to Arsenal last time out. Leicester meantime held Spurs to a 1-1 draw in their opener, but followed this up by being beaten 2-1 at Craven Cottage a week ago. Steve Cooper's side did claim a morale-boosting victory in the EFL Cup, smashing Tranmere Rovers 4-0 on Tuesday, but desperately need Premier League points, although they'll have to upset the odds to pick up any here.

Steve Cooper made eight changes for the mid-week League Cup tie, Wout Faes, Harry Winks and Wilfred Ndidi the only players to keep their places. Oliver Skipp made his debut in midfield, but the vast majority of Leicester's key figures will return to the XI, including Jamie Vardy, who has drawn a blank in each of his last five meetings with Villa, despite having scored five in his previous four league encounters with them.

Unai Emery has named an unchanged line-up for both matches so far, but surely won't be able to continue this trend, given that Matty Cash hobbled off against Arsenal, meaning 18 year old Kosta Nedeljković will deputise at right-back. That aside, expect little change, with Lucas Digne keeping his place on the opposite side, with new signing Ian Maatsen still awaiting his full debut, after two substitute appearances.
