Fabrizio Romano: Eintracht Frankfurt set to sign Manchester United outcast on loan
Since joining Manchester United from Ajax in 2020, Donny van de Beek’s career has suffered a lot. He never got enough opportunities to represent the Red Devils and whenever he did get an opportunity, he impressed fans. But, still, he was unable to impress United’s managers as Solskjaer, Rangnick, and even Erik ten Hag didn’t pick him consistently in the starting lineup. When Ten Hag became Man Utd’s manager, Donny was expected to get a run of games. However, even his old manager didn’t revive his career at Man United. So, he will be looking to part ways with the Red Devils as Eintracht Frankfurt is favourites for the signature of the Dutch midfielder according to the transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano.
Eintracht Frankfurt looking to sign Donny from Manchester United
One of the most dependable transfer journalists, Fabrizio Romano informed on Twitter that Eintracht Frankfurt are closing in on securing the signature of Donny van de Beek from Manchester United on loan in January. It will be a move that Donny would approve because he is looking to leave in January to get game time under his belt. Apart from Eintracht Frankfurt, the current La Liga leaders, Girona are also interested in signing the Dutch Midfielder according to Romano.
However, the conditions given by Girona are different than what Eintracht Frankfurt are offering to Man Utd. Ten Hag and United need to make the decision soon because Donny is desperate to leave the club. And, unless some miracles happen, Donny will not be a part of the Manchester United team after January. Also, Manchester United will be in the market if Donny leaves for a midfielder because they have struggled a lot in that position this season.
So, do you think Donny van de Beek should leave Manchester United in January?
