Gareth Southgate was pretty resilient with his team selection in the group stages but poor attacking displays may force him to consider changes.
The biggest piece of news to come out of the England camp in midweek was that Phil Foden was forced to leave the squad for a pressing family matter. It has since been revealed that it was for the birth of his child, therefore, he will be involved in the preparation for the Slovakia match (Guardian).
There is further good news for England fans. While it is yet to be confirmed, talkSPORT has provided some positivity in light of Luke Shaw being available for selection again. Given that the Manchester United full-back has not played in a competitive match for many months now, it remains to be seen whether he will play a role, but it is a welcomed boost regardless.

Still, Slovakia must not be undermined as they clearly have some talent in their squad. While it won't be a high-flying England win, I predict England 2-1 Slovakia.
