Chelsea player ratings: Midfield

DM: Moises Caicedo (6.5/10) - Caicedo still doesn't look like a £100 million player. However, it was a much-improved performance from Ecuadorian. He needs to dominate games more like a proper defensive midfielder. At times, he struggled on his own as Enzo and Conor were playing a big high up the pitch.

CM: Enzo Fernandez (7.5/10) - Enzo was brilliant in this game. He could have scored a goal and provided some good crosses for Broja and Sterling and both couldn't convert the chances. It was a game that shows why Chelsea paid such an exponential fee to sign him from Benfica. But, he has to improve his without-the-ball game as he was leaving Caicedo alone too often.

AM: Conor Gallagher (7/10) - The Chelsea captain had a decent outing at the Stamford Bridge against Fulham. He was unlucky not to score as his shot hit the post. He was swift in position and had a few driving runs that was exciting to watch. However, he is far from being the Conor Gallagher who made Chelsea fans excited again.
