Man United registered their first victory of the Premier League season when they beat Fulham by 1-0. The late goal from Joshua Zirkzee helped Erik ten Hag and his men three points on the opening day of the Premier League. However, the win was far from convincing as United missed so many chances. The overall performance was better from what they did on the opening day last season against Wolves. In that game, Wolves played United out of the park. The next challenge for Ten Hag’s men is against Brighton when they travel to the AMEX stadium. So, here are the 3 things Man United should change against Brighton in their next Premier League clash.
3 things Man United should change against Brighton
Joshua Zirkzee must start
Manchester United created x chances against Fulham. Bruno Fernandes had three chances to give the Red Devils the lead. But, he failed up top. Also, Mount could not bury the chances he got. And, I don’t have to explain the horrible miss from Garnacho. Zirkzee showed what United were missing. That is why he has to start as the striker in this Brighton vs Man United game for the Red Devils.

De Ligt should replace Maguire
Yes, Maguire was brilliant against Fulham. But, you cannot deny the fact that Maguire is not the type of centre-back that suits the style of play which Erik ten Hag wants. He is slow and Ten Hag needs a fast centre-back who can cover for Martinez. De Ligt fits that profile perfectly. So, he should start the game and Maguire should be on the bench.

Mount should be on the bench
Mason Mount had a decent outing against Fulham. He was replaced by Joshua Zirkzee in the 61st minute of the game. As Zirkzee must start in the next game, Bruno should play as the number 10. So, Mount cannot start the game and he should be on the bench.
