Manchester United is in dire need of players to fill urgent positions of concern. Manchester united have conceded 27 goals in the English Premier League so far, that is more than half the amount they conceded the whole of last season. With Lisandro Martinez back in training after a lengthy injury spell, Harry Maguire is expected at the tail end of January, and Victor Lindelof in early February are the only defenders who are on the injured list who are expected to play any part of this season.  Nice Jean-Clair Todibo would be an important signing to plug that gaping hole in United’s defense.

Out of favor Jadon Sancho is close to a return to Borussia Dortmund according to mirror.co.uk. Anthony, who was brought in on a hefty price tag of 82 million, has failed miserably to spark at Old Trafford. He has played 16 games and has 0 assists and 0 goals this season. If Manchester United could steal Palace prolific winger Micheal Olise it could prove to be a worthy deal considering the form that he is in now.

Manchester united has been woeful Infront of goal this season scoring just a mere 22 goals in 20 matches. Manchester United are the joint second lowest scoring team in the EPL and could do well with the services of Ivan Toney. Manchester United's forwards are so atrocious in front of the goal they could only amass 8 goals put together.

Jean-Clair Todibo (Nice)

Todibo has been rock solid in the heart of defense for his current club Nice. They sit comfortably in second breathing down the neck of PSG after conceding only 9 goals all season. Todibo was United’s prime target to replace Maguire who was linked to West Ham over the summer. However, the deal staled, and Maguire stayed put and the Todibo deal was called off.

The Red Devils have reignited their interest in the 23-year-old, as he is highly rated by under fire head coach Ten Hag and his coaching staff at the club. Todibo played 6 games for Barcelona and was loaned out to several clubs but has caught the eyes of several giant clubs in Europe.

Despite Nice current position on the league table and another four more years that is left on Todibo’s current deal, it would be difficult for Nice to turn down a lucrative bid.

Micheal Olise

Olise was prized away from reading 2021 by Crystal palace and has played 80 games scoring 11 goals for the Eagles. One of the 11 goals scored by Olise was a sublime free kick against Manchester United in a pulsating 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park January 18, 2023. Olise’s trickery, pace and eye for goal would ignite some fire in Manchester United’s toothless attack. Olise has equaled United’s leading scorer (Scott Mctominay) tally in half the games played by the Red Devils midfielder. One of the club's youngest scorers and the youngest player to assist three goals from open play in a Premier League game would fit perfectly in United’s front three of Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rasford.

In a bid to fend off potential interest Olise penned a new four-year deal with the Eagles 2023. His contract release clause remains unknown, but maybe over the sum of £40million.  If signed he could prove to be the breath of fresh air Manchester United needs.

Ivan Toney

Brentford's out of action goal machine Ivan Toney is linked to a move away from the Bees and Erik Ten Haag is hoping his next stop is Old Trafford. Toney has been out of action since May after he was suspended from football for breaching the Football Association’s betting rules. No stranger to the Premier League and a proven talisman, only Harry Kane (30) and Erling Haaland (36) scored more goals than the England International who scored (20) goals last season. With the red Devils attack crying out for goals Toney could be a useful player to shoulder the responsibilities of scoring goals with Hojlund who just broke his duct and Rashford who is on three goals. If Ten Hag is going to get Toney, he would have to splash a huge sum of cash as manager Thomas Frank says the striker is worth well over 100-million-pound sterling.
