Leicester City vs Chelsea- Premier League: TV channel, prediction, team news and lineups
By Ben Gray
Chelsea have won both of their last two visits to the King Power, while they're unbeaten in six encounters with Leicester overall, winning five; the Foxes most-recent victory in this fixture? The small matter of the FA Cup Final.
Leicester City vs Chelsea Preview
Chelsea kick off third in the Premier League table, knowing victory in the East Midlands would move them to within six points of leaders Liverpool, even if only temporarily, something few predicted before a ball was kicked. A fortnight ago, the Blues held fierce rivals Arsenal to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, with Pedro Neto's long-range strike ensuring the points were shared. On paper, this means Enzo Maresca's side have won only one of their last five in the Premier League, defeating only Newcastle since September, although, on the flip side, the Blues have lost just one of their last ten in the league, beaten only at Anfield since the opening weekend. Thus, most are forecasting that Chelsea will collect all three points at the King Power.
Leicester City meantime, like their visitors, would be delighted to remain in their current position until May, sat 15th, three points clear of the drop zone. A fortnight ago, Steve Cooper's side were smashed 3-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford, extending the Foxes' winless streak to three games. October's victories over Bournemouth and Southampton, that seem a distant memory now, hauled Leicester out of the relegation zone, but they have not won since so, given that Cooper isn't a particularly popular character anyway, it won't take much for the pressure to ramp up. So, in this Saturday lunchtime clash, can Leicester cause a major upset?

Leicester City Team News
Facundo Buonanotte was shown his fifth yellow card of the season at Old Trafford, meaning he is serving a one-game suspension; a major blow. Meantime, Jamie Vardy missed that game due to a back injury, but he is expected to for this one. In less good news, Ricardo Pereira has been sidelined for four months due to a hamstring injury while, along the backline, Jannik Vestergaard is set for a third successive start, having seemingly superseded summer signing Caleb Okoli in the pecking order. Elsewhere, it was confirmed on Thursday that winger Abdul Fatawu will miss the rest of the season following an ACL rupture. Lastly, Bobby De Cordova-Reid is a doubt, having sat out Jamaica's two CONCACAF Nations League fixtures last week due to a "nasty wound" on his Achilles.
Leicester City predicted lineup vs Chelsea: (4-5-1): Hermansen; Justin, Vestergaard, Faes, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Winks, Soumaré, Mavididi, J Ayew; Vardy.
Leicester City Player to Watch vs Chelsea
Mads Hermansen has made 43 saves in the Premier League this season, the second-most of any goalkeeper, and the Dane donning the gloves should be prepared for another busy afternoon.
Chelsea Team News
Enzo Maresca should expect a warm welcome back to the King Power, having guided Leicester to the EFL Championship title last season. Since making the switch to Chelsea, Maresca's league lineups have been largely settled, expected to name an unchanged XI for this one, fitness permitting. Cole Palmer withdrew from the England squad the day after the draw with Arsenal, but is widely-expected to be fit for this one. Meanwhile, Roméo Lavia was taken off injured a fortnight ago, but this isn't serious, although there is slightly more concern about Malo Gusto's availability; if he's not good to go, captain Reece James isn't a bad back-up is he? Nicolas Jackson and Pedro Neto would both sit out next Sunday's clash with Aston Villa if booked.
Chelsea predicted lineup vs Leicester City: (4-2-3-1): Sánchez; Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Lavia, Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson.
Chelsea Player to Watch vs Leicester City
Cole Palmer was on target in an FA Cup tie against Leicester back in March, so it would take a rather brave person to back against him adding to his seven Premier League goals this season at the King Power.
Leicester City vs Chelsea Prediction
As alluded to throughout, we cannot see beyond a comfortable Chelsea victory. Leicester have conceded three or more in four of their last seven, while Chelsea have been proficient at swatting aside bottom-half sides so far, a trend we're extremely confident will continue on Saturday lunchtime: Leicester City 1-3 Chelsea.
