Fulham vs Arsenal - Premier League: TV channel, prediction, team news and lineups
By Ben Gray
Having beaten Arsenal on New Year's Eve last season, Fulham are targeting back-to-back home wins over the Gunners for the first time ever, 111 years on from first welcoming them to West London.
Fulham vs Arsenal Preview
Will Arsenal's winning streak continue? On Wednesday night, the Gunners battled to a 2-0 victory over Manchester United in North London, both goals coming from corners, leading to the crowd, ironically, singing "set-piece again olé olé". Shortly after the interval, Jurriën Timber flicked home his first for the club before, 20 minutes later, Thomas Partey's header across found its way in via William Saliba's backside.
They all count! That made it four successive victories for Mikel Arteta's team, scoring 15 times across these matches, cutting the gap at the top of the table to seven points, needing wins and more wins as they hunt down run-away league-leaders Liverpool. Having lost at Craven Cottage 12 months ago, a result that, in the end, cost Arsenal the title, no Gooner will be taking this short trip across the capital for granted.
Fulham meantime warmed up for this one with a win of their own on Thursday, beating Brighton 3-1 at Craven Cottage. Former-Gunner Alex Iwobi was the scorer of a brace, first pouncing on some calamitous defending, before curling home a clinching third. This victory catapulted Marco Silva's side up to sixth, the Whites' highest-ever top-flight finish is seventh, having won three of their last five, beaten only once across six outings since mid-October. With a trip to Anfield to come next weekend, and a visit to Chelsea scheduled for Boxing Day, this is the start of a very tough period for Fulham, but can the claim back-to-back victories over Arsenal for the very first time in the 120-year history of this London derby?

Fulham Team News
Saša Lukić can return at the base of midfield, having been suspended for Thursday's win, while Andreas Pereira came off the bench in mid-week, after he was dropped from the squad entirely at Spurs last Sunday due to disciplinary reasons. Meanwhile, Joachim Andersen and Harrison Reed are injured, Tom Cairney is suspended and Reiss Nelson is ineligible against his parent club, the latter meaning Adama Traroé will return to the XI. Timothy Castagne and Rodrigo Muniz were surprise names on the teamsheet against Brighton, so will either Kenny Tete or Raúl Jiménez return? Calvin Bassey and the aforementioned Pereira are one booking away from a ban.
Fulham predicted lineup vs Arsenal: (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Pereira, Lukić, Traoré, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jiménez.
Fulham Player to Watch vs Arsenal
Emile Smith Rowe joined Arsenal as a ten year old before departing this summer. He's been a star since arriving at Fulham so, facing the Gunners for the first time, will he come back to haunt them?
Arsenal Team News
Mikel Arteta is short of defenders right now. Benjamin White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are out long-term, while neither Riccardo Calafiori nor Gabriel were involved on Wednesday. The Brazilian may well miss out again, due to a suspected concussion suffered at the London Stadium, but there is optimism that Calafiori could come back in, displacing Oleksandr Zinchenko. In midfield, it's currently Declan Rice plus one other, with Thomas Partey, Jorginho and Mikel Merino all partnering him in recent weeks. Gabriel Jesus is one booking away from a suspension, which is somewhat remarkable considering he's seen only 228 minutes of action in the Premier League so far this season.
Arsenal predicted lineup vs Fulham: (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Calafiori; Rice, Jorginho, Saka, Ødegaard, Martinelli; Havertz.
Arsenal Player to Watch vs Fulham
This is not an original statement, but Martin Ødegaard's return has been the primary reason behind Arsenal's recent upturn in form, so will the Norwegian shine again?
Fulham vs Arsenal Prediction
We are baking Arsenal to leave Craven Cottage with all three points. Mikel Arteta's team have been back to their best for a fortnight or so and should be too strong for Fulham, even if it certainly won't be easy, considering the Cottagers kick off just six points behind: Fulham 1-3 Arsenal.
