Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League: TV channel, prediction, team news and lineups
By Ben Gray
Tottenham Hotspur have won each of their last five meetings with Crystal Palace, victorious in 15 of their 18 Premier League encounters since September 2015, so there should only be one winner in this London derby.
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur Preview
Will Tottenham Hotspur's perfect week continue? Last Saturday, Spurs fought back from a goal down to dismantle rivals West Ham 4-1, with Dejan Kuluševski equalising, before strikes from Yves Bissouma, a comical own goal and Son Heung-min made the points secure. Then, on Thursday night, Ange Postecoglou's side made it three wins out of three in the Europa League, as Richarlison's second half spot-kick was enough to down AZ in North London.
The Lilywhites, alongside Lazio and Anderlecht, are now the only teams in the tournament with perfect records after three games. Across all competitions, Tottenham have won seven of their last eight, that blip at Brighton very much the outlier, needing three more points here, considering they start the weekend seventh.
Well, Crystal Palace's desperation for points is even more urgent, considering they're in the relegation zone, still yet to enjoy a victory this season. Oliver Glasner's side were last in action on Monday night, defeated 1-0 by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, in a game that could've gone either-way, with Dean Henderson allowing the night's only goal to squirm under him.
Thus, with just three draws on the board, Palace have failed to win any of their first eight games to start a campaign for the first time since 1992, a year Steve Coppell's team were relegated, although victory did come in their ninth fixture back then. So, can the Eagles soar out of the bottom three with victory in this London derby, or will Spurs be too strong at Selhurst?

Crystal Palace Team News
Having named an entirely different back three during each of Palace's first seven fixtures, Oliver Glasner will deploy the same trio for a third successive match, partially due to limited options, given that Chadi Riad and Chris Richards are sidelined. Adam Wharton was surprisingly dropped on Monday, with Will Hughes coming in to partner Jefferson Lerma. In attack, Jean-Philippe Mateta has also lost his place in the side, with former Arsenal man Eddie Nketiah likely to lead the line again, although Ismaïla Sarr could be chosen over Daichi Kamada in-behind.
Crystal Palace predicted lineup vs Tottenham Hotspur: (3-4-1-2): Henderson; Chalobah, Guéhi, Lacroix; Muñoz, Hughs, Lerma, Mitchell; Eze, Sarr, Nketiah.
Crystal Palace Player to Watch vs Tottenham Hotspur
Eberechi Eze attempted six shots, to no avail, at the City Ground, taking his total to 33 in the Premier League, behind only Antoine Semenyo and Erling Braut Håland. Considering Eze has scored only once in the league so far, this is not a great ratio, but the Eagles will need him at his sharpest if they're to get anything out of this one.
Tottenham Hotspur Team News
Ange Postecoglou rotated his team for the mid-week win over AZ, with Fraser Forster, Radu Drăgușin, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and 17 year old Mikey Moore amongst those coming in. Richarlison was the match-winner, having started for the first time this season due to injury, while Wilson Odobert came off the bench late on, his first run out for over a month due to a hamstring issue. James Maddison was hooked at half time last weekend, so will he begin the afternoon on the bench this time?
Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace: (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, van de Ven, Romero, Udogie; Matar Sarr, Bissouma, Kuluševski, Johnson, Son Heung-min; Solanke.
Tottenham Hotspur Player to Watch vs Crystal Palace
Captain Son Heung-min marked his return with a goal against West Ham last Saturday. The Korean has scored nine times in his career against Crystal Palace, on target during his last two appearances at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction
We're backing Spurs to win this one, expecting there to be plenty of goal in South London. Palace have both struggled to score goals and been unable to keep them out so far, a far from ideal combination, so we believe Tottenham's attacking firepower will see them to victory: Crystal Palace 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur.
