Leicester are aiming for three successive victories over Bournemouth for the first time since 2014, although the Foxes have never won in the Premier League at Dean Court in six attempts, losing each of the last three.

It's been a very strong season for Bournemouth, so will they end it with a victory? The Cherries have set a new club-record Premier League points tally, currently on 53, and a win here could see them end the campaign as high as ninth, if results elsewhere go their way.

On Tuesday, however, their slim hopes of European qualification came to an end, smashed 3-1 by Manchester City at the Etihad, with Daniel Jebbison's goal in stoppage time very much of the consolation variety.

Andoni Iraola's side has therefore won just two of their last 12 matches, tailing off a bit since mid-February, but this should not significantly diminish the excellent job he has done in Dorset. So, will the Cherries have three more points to celebrate on the final day?

Well, this does seem the most-likely outcome, given that Leicester City have only won six matches all season, relegated as long ago as Easter Sunday. One of their victories did come last Sunday, beating also already relegated Ipswich 2-0 at the King Power, with Jamie Vardy marking his final appearance for the Foxes with his 200th goal for the club, before Kasey McAteer made the points secure.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's team have now collected seven points from their last three outings, having yielded just four points from their previous 19 matches, the very definition of too little too late. Leicester did beat Bournemouth 1-0 in October, but a victory for the Cherries is expected this time.

Bournemouth team news

Lewis Cook is suspended, having been sent off at the Etihad, while Ryan Christie, Alex Scott, Dango Ouattara, Luis Sinisterra and Enes Ünal remain sidelined. This does leave Andoni Iraola very short of midfield options, with Marcus Tavernier the most-likely candidate to parnter Tyler Adams. Left-back Miloš Kerkez and Dean Huijsen are amongst those likely to wave farewell to Bournemouth here.

Bournemouth predicted lineup vs Leicester City: (4-2-3-1): Arrizabalaga; Araújo, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Adams, Tavernier, Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo; Evanilson.

Bournemouth players to watch vs Leicester City

Evanilson has scored 12 goals this season, not a bad first campaign in England, five of which have been scored at Dean Court, so can he add to his tally?

Leicester City team news

Jamie Vardy is such a fan of round numbers that he has decided not to play in this one, departing the club after 500 appearances and 200 goals, which is aesthetically please isn't it? Meantime, Mads Hermansen, Abdul Fatawu, Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Stephy Mavididi all remain injured.

So, Jakub Stolarczyk will once again be donning the gloves, while Patson Daka is expected to lead the line, starting in the Premier League for only the sixth time all season.

Leicester City predicted lineup vs Bournemouth: (4-3-3): Stolarczyk; Justin, Coady, Faes, Thomas; Ndidi, Soumaré, El Khannouss, McAteer, Ayew; Daka.

Leicester City player to watch vs Bournemouth

Bilal El Khannouss has three goals to his name this season, the most-recent of which came during their most-recent away win at Tottenham in February, so will he be their danger man here too?

Bournemouth vs Leicester City prediction

We're forecasting a very comfortable victory for Bournemouth, with Leicester losing and failing to score, as they've done pretty much all season long: Bournemouth 2-0 Leicester City.
