RW: Bukayo Saka. Wasn’t completely rested as he came on as a sub, but he’ll be fresh for this match. A fresh Bukayo Saka is a rarity, so his manager Mikel Arteta will hope for the best from his best player.

CF: Eddie Nketiah. Gabriel Jesus is out for a couple of weeks. This is a big blow, as Eddie Nketiah’s away record is poor. Still, fresh off scoring a hat-trick, he’ll be full of confidence so he’ll back himself to break that away hoodoo at St James Park.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli. He made a difference when he came on in midweek, but he didn’t have enough time. Still, the partial rest would have been good for the Brazilian, as he looks to compete in an interesting battle against Kieran Trippier.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Newcastle: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu; Rice, Jorginho, Odegaard (c); Saka, Martinelli, Nketiah
