After their humiliating loss against Man City at home, another Manchester United winger has frustrated the boss Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United were praying for the match against Man City at the weekend to be over. In truth, they had a good first half but they let themselves go, heavily. In the end, the match finished 3-0 to the visiting team and Erik ten Hag’s job security slipped just a little bit more. The scoreline wouldn’t have bad if the players on the pitch put up a fight. Particularly the leadership team and the more senior players, but they went missing.

One player who was abysmal, except one good pass, was Marcus Rashford. The purple patch player who is one of the most consistent players I’ve ever seen did nothing to affect the game and he was outclassed by players who shouldn’t be spoken about in the same sentence as the disappointing Rashford.

After the match, the England international Marcus Rashford did something which angered Erik ten Hag. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Erik ten Hag is annoyed by the fact that Rashford went out clubbing after Man United lost to Man City.

I already know that this will divide opinion as its a common story which is shared about a lot of England professionals. Some may say that Rashford is a human being outside of football and he should have the freedom to separate his work from his personal life and this is true.

However, to combat this, I would argue that nobody after a bad day even thinks about going out clubbing. After all, what is there to celebrate after that shambles of a performance from him and his teammates?
