Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made his stance on the potential Mohamed Salah sale known to all. Will the German boss be convinced?

Liverpool have had a great start to the Premier League season. Although on paper they are fourth in the table, the Reds are only three points behind Spurs who are top. Certainly, Jurgen Klopp is in the title race again, and he doesn’t plan on dropping out any time soon.

The emphatic start is a testament to some great transfer business in the summer window. Some great midfield signings came in, including Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo. With the midfield sorted, Liverpool may focus on other positions next.

One position which doesn’t need to be strengthened is their attack. Not only does Jurgen Klopp have plenty of options in attack, but many of the options are youthful and have bright futures ahead of them.

Not in the youthful camp, though, is Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian king is 31 years old but still has many years of service left in him. Fans will certainly hope that those years are spent at Anfield, not elsewhere, with Saudi Arabia looming.

According to a report by Football Insider, fans may get their wish. The report reveals that Liverpool will NOT sell Mohamed Salah under any circumstances. Therefore, even if a fortune is thrown their way, they will not give into the Saudi temptation.

In my opinion, this is nonsense talking. Clubs tend to say this about their best players but at the end of the day, it is the owners who have the final say and most of the time, owners are money-hungry. For every player, there are certain offers which cannot be refused. If Saudi makes one of those offers for Salah, I cannot see Liverpool sticking to their word.
