Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has made a BOLD prediction about the club’s future, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano on X.
Manchester United got their first points in the Champions League last night, with Harry Maguire coming up with a late goal and Andre Onana providing a last-minute penalty save to ensure a win against Copenhagen. Certainly, it wasn’t the best performance from the Red Devils but to win when you aren’t at your best is a sign of a great team.
Andre Onana has been under immense scrutiny since he signed for the club in the summer, albeit he hasn’t helped himself with the many mistakes he’s made. Still, to keep a clean sheet last night will mean a world of good to him and he’ll only be looking forward from here.

On the topic of the Cameroonian goalkeeper, he has made a bold prediction about Manchester United’s chances of progressing through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Onana said that he has “no doubt” and is sure that Manchester United will go through to the next stage of the Champions League.
If they do, then his last-minute penalty heroics will look all the more important. Before the match, they had zero points and were at serious risk of picking up just one point from their opening three Champions League match. Thankfully, though, Onana’s penalty save which was the most celebrated moment in the game, ensured all three points, bringing Man United to third in their group, one point behind Galatasaray.
