Fabrizio Romano: Jadon Sancho’s Manchester United career is 90% over

According to the trusted transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, winger Jadon Sancho’s career at Manchester United is “90% over”.
The drama involving Manchester United star Jadon Sancho and his manager Erik ten Hag could finally come to a close, if reports from Fabrizio Romano are to be believed (which they often are). Romano has claimed in his daily briefing that Manchester United are open to any January offers for Jadon Sancho, since his time at Old Trafford is thought to be “90% over”.
In all honesty, the standout from this report is the shock value of him still having a 10% chance. Although, the club has openly stated many times that all Sancho needs to do is apologise for him to be considered once more. But the England international doesn’t want to apologise, so a career salvation at Old Trafford doesn’t look to be on the cards anytime soon.
Manchester United play Copenhagen in the Champions League group stage tonight. There are no excuses for Erik ten Hag as he NEEDS to pick up some points in the competition. Having lost his opening two European fixtures this season, it feels like do or die for the Red Devils tonight.
One thing can be said for sure, though, and that’s Jadon Sancho will play no part. Being made an outcast and rightly so since his dispute with Erik ten Hag, the former Dortmund winger will look for a new club when the January transfer window opens.
It’s a shame his time in Manchester didn’t work out as he showed plenty of promise as an England international. However, the reality is that he doesn’t work hard to fulfill his potential, so he’ll go down as a wasted prodigy. Hopefully he finds his level outside of the Premier League, though.
Do you think Manchester United will sign a Jadon Sancho replacement?
