With the Merseyside derby kicking off an Anfield this weekend, form often goes out of the window. That said, here’s the Liverpool predicted lineup vs Everton.

Liverpool predicted lineup vs Everton

GK: Allison Becker – The first name on the team sheet for a reason. In my opinion, Allison is the best goalkeeper in the world and he thrives on occasions like this. With Europa League action shortly following, Kelleher will get his chance then.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – Mr Versatile will be called upon at full-back. Certainly, this is his best position as he is key to making probing runs into the opposition’s half and swinging in a great delivery. If the Liverpool attack is in form with their runs or positioning, Trent will find them.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – Considering the occasion and the physicality of Everton, there isn’t a better man for the job than the centre back Ibrahima Konate. He will slot in as one half of the defensive partnership.

CB: Virgil van Dijk – Van Dijk has had a great international break, scoring a vital last-minute goal for his country. Thankfully for Jurgen Klopp, he remained injury free. The Dutchman will start in this match as his colossal approach will be very much needed.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas – It will be a rare start in the Premier League for the Greek full-back. Given the unfortunate injury to Andy Robertson during the international break, Tsimikas is the most suited to play in the full-back role.
