CM: Moises Caicedo – With Romeo Lavia still injured for an extended period, there’s not much competition for Caicedo’s place. As a freakishly expensive signing, he’ll look to have a good performance against Arsenal, who were also interested in signing the Ecuador international.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – Obviously. It goes without saying that Enzo is one of the first names on the team sheet and unless he suddenly becomes injured in the buildup, he will start this match. Enzo is a complete midfielder and as he comes up against one of the best field blocks in the world, he will aim to use his big-match experience.

CM: Conor Gallagher – An absolute staple under Mauricio Pochettino. For as long as Lavia is injured and potentially beyond, Gallagher will start in the midfield. He seems to get better after each match so he’ll use this as invaluable experience against a great midfield three as stated.
