Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could use his skilful £45m attacker who has transformed the club in a swap deal for Serie A’s best player.

Arsenal are in an incredible mood right now. Yesterday, Mikel Arteta FINALLY got his long-awaited win against his former club Manchester City. In a match which was described as “the student beats the teacher”, Arteta really asserted his tactical dominance and stamped his place in the title race.

Now, with the international break ongoing, fans in North London are locked in their bragging rights as they are tied on points and goal difference. Although, Mikel Arteta has been doing some pondering.

Arsenal consider HUGE Gabriel Jesus and Victor Osimhen swap deal

According to a report by Express, Arsenal are considering the use of Gabriel Jesus in a lucrative swap deal involving Victor Osimhen of Napoli. With the Nigerian striker looking for a move away from Serie A given the poor treatment of him, he could entertain this immense swap deal.

Going from winning the title in Italy to winning the title in England in back-to-back seasons could  be a project which appeals to Osimhen. We all know he has a killer mentality, he has just been poorly mistreated in Italy despite him being the best striker the league has seen in some time.

Of course, from Arsenal’s perspective, this would be a significant upgrade. While Gabriel Jesus is an immensely talented player and one of the most skilful in the world, he doesn’t cut it as striker in a title contending team. Particularly when the competition is Erling Haaland, you need a player who could contribute to 30+ goals per season – Osimhen is that and Jesus isn’t.

Do you think Arsenal should offer Gabriel Jesus in a swap deal for Victor Osimhen?
