Defenders

RB: Diogo Dalot (6/10)

Diogo Dalot looked good both defensively and going forward. However, he was struggling to find chemistry with Burno Fernandes. He came close to scoring an equalizer for United. Overall, he had a decent game against Brentford.

CB: Harry Maguire (6.5/10)

Harry Maguire looked a bit dodgy initially. However, he played a decent game of football for Manchester United. Due to the injury to Raphael Varane, he had to play. However, it is fair to say that his game has not improved much to get a first-team opportunity when Varane or Matinez returns.

CB: Jonny Evans (6.5/10)

Even at the age of 35, Jonny still got it. He was good in this game. At times, when Mbeumo and Wissa were getting behind him, it felt a bit scary for the fans. However, he did a good job overall. As a backup centre-back, he can play a part in this team. Thus, he gets an average score in this Man Utd player ratings vs Brentford.

LB: Victor Lindelof (6/10)

Lindelof looked injured from the start. He also was playing out of his position as a left-back. In this regard, you have to that he did put in a shift. However, Ten Hag had to take him off because he wasn’t feeling great. United fans will be hoping he doesn’t make the injury list next.
