RW: Bukayo Saka. It’s definitely a risk to put him in given the Bukayo Saka injury concerns. But from Mikel Arteta’s perspective, it’s a risk he’d be willing to take. Saka is the biggest attacking threat for Arsenal so even if he’s 50% fit, he HAS to start.

CF: Gabriel Jesus. Again, Jesus will be playing against his former club. He’s finding his goal scoring boots at the moment, particularly in the Champions League games. As a player who knows a lot about how Pep works, he’ll hopefully get on the score sheet in this anticipated fixture.

LW: Leandro Trossard. It remains to be seen whether Martinelli is fit, so I assume that means the Brazilian will start on the bench at most. Luckily, though, there’s a worthwhile backup in Leandro Trossard. He scored a goal against Man City in the Community Shield, so he’ll hope to replicate that in this match.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Man City: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Havertz, Odegaard (C); Saka, Jesus, Trossard
